Orientation to Graduation 2.0: Advice from Real College Students was written by recent college graduates Austin Helms (2016) and Savannah Putnam (2019). The book offers an easy-to-read format coupled with multitudes of advice for students entering secondary education. Helms and Putnam created a realistic approach to the college-readiness guide, filled with their own funny stories and tips they wish they had known. The book is approachable and it's a great way to get a sense of what it is like to be a student. The down-to-earth and honest advice, from two students who were mentors and leaders on their campus, is a must have for any emerging college student. Helms and Putnam mention a multitude of topics that are ever-so present in today's college experience. Things such as goal setting, living with a roommate, traveling abroad, and the never to talk about, party scene! Students will be more than ready to make the most of their college journey after hearing the stories and advice that won't disappoint!
